Wiz.... Mac Miller.... Boy Bourke ??

Hey all, Have not posted on here in ages! So ill just share a few new songs i like on here, Enjoy!

So Wiz Khalifa just dropped his new album "Rolling Papers" of course it has the big single "Black and Yellow" which is a pretty sweet song. It also has 2 other songs that are pretty big "Roll Up" which has 33+ million views on youtube and "On My Level" Ft Too Short, it has 25+ million views, although in this song i think 'Too Short' is not that good and for me ruins the song a little bit and he should change his name from 'Too Short' to 'Too Old'. Wiz could get better rappers to work with and has before such as Kid Cudi and Mac Miller! Ok this is one of my fav songs on the album.

Go get this album as it will be worth it, it has nice mix of head boping tracks and some really smooth chilled out songs. 7/10 for me.

We all know im a huge Mac Miller fan and as you see a Wiz fan so im gonna bring this song to your attention, its a ripper! It's called 'Cruise Control' by yep you guessed it Mac Miller and Wiz Khalifa. Just sit back and chill out to this one!

Now for someone you would never have heard of... Boy Bourke. This aussie rapper is a friend of mine, have known him for a few years now and he recently told me he raps, i had no idea and wouldn't have guessed it. But he is just starting out and is pretty raw. The song im posting of his is called 'Imagine' and yes it is a hip hop remix of the John Lennon classic. It's pretty damn good!

He only has two songs on youtube but i have heard a song he sent me, and its a ripper he said he will post it on youtube soon. He raps over a Ratatat beat 'Loud Pipes' and it's dope! I'll post it when its up!

MAVS = CHAMPS

Game 6 in the nba finals today, and it was do or die the the Miami Heat playing in front of their home crowd. After a quick start the heat looked the goods, untill Jason 'The Jet' Terry came off the benched and sparked the mavs, to lead at the end of the frist quarter. Dirk Nowitzki struggled in the first half, but with Terry on fire they held on to lead at the half time break 53 - 51. Second half with Dirk getting abit of touch back the Mavs never really looked like losing! Terry Starred with 27 points and Dirk ending up with 21. For the heat no one really stood out but it was a much more even scoring sheet then what we are used to. James 21, Bosh 19, Wade 17 and Charlmers 18, but it wasn't enough as the Dallas Mavs went on to win their first championship in franchise history! 105 - 95. Dirk Nowitzki won the finals MVP, much deserved !

Now abit of a tune. Something abit different to the hip hop tunes i have been putting on here. This guys name is 'Cris Cab' he is a acoustic guitar player that i recently discovered. Check out this cover he did on Wiz Khalifa's Black and Yellow.

Dirk does it AGAIN!.... Chiddy

Game 5 today(again i couldn't  watch because One HD sucks major balls!) but i was watching the score on http://www.nba.com/ like a man posessed! Also looking at the box score every 5 - 10 minutes to see who was playing well, and to no surprise it was Dirk with 29 points for the Mavs and Wade for the Heat. Dirk was well supported by jason Terry(21) and little JJ Barea(17). Wade had 21 while LeBron had a tripple double, but it was not good enough to get them over the line with the mavs comming out victors 112 - 103!

Now time for a tune! Chiddy Bang's new mixtape 'Peanut Butter and Swelly' is great. I'm loving this song off it called 'Too Much Soul' it has a kick ass beat and Chiddy kills it with awesome lyrics! Enough of me rambling on and just listen!

LeBron = Fail!

Ok so i watched the NBA replay of game 4 today(seeing as oneHD won't play it live!!!!) and it just so happens that the Dallas Mavs had another great come from behind victory! Lead by their super star power foward Dirk! He was was ill, flu like symptoms, had had minimal sleep. This game could either be a huge lose or the rise of a hero, and it was the latter of the two. Now im not going to compare this to the famous "Michael Jordan Flu Game" but what a performance, particularly in the last quarter when he was needed! Also another story was LeBron James scoring a measly 8 points!!!! hahahahahhaha(I'm not a huge LeBron fan). GO MAVS!!

Okay now for some kick ass hip-hop! This guy i found by the name of 'Matt Easton' i don't really know a great deal about him, except he makes dope music! He makes his own beats, writes his own lyrics and then takes it to the studio. He is only new to the Hip Hop scene and in my eyes is killing it already! I'll leave you with a couple of my fav tracks.

Grieves/Atmosphere

Ok so ill start with an American rapper that i really like atm. He speaks from the heart, doesn't rap about Money, Drugs or Hoes and this style really suits him.

This is my fav song from him, i love it!(Georgia my girlfriend hates it  :S ) i like his voice, what he raps about, and i really like how he sings his own chorus. He may not have the best singing voice but i think it suits this song perfectly!

Alright now for Atmosphere like Grieves straight from the heart! Don't know how people can not like this kind of music! But each to thier own. I like the chilled style he boasts! Both Atmosphere and Grieves are signed to an American label called 'RhymeSayers' All the RhymeSayers artists are really good! And you should check them out!

This is probably my fav Atmosphere song, Lyrics are just great and make the song what it is. 

Now for the funny youtube video. I found it from a dude that posted it on facebook, and thought shit that is funny! I thought it was worthy of sharing with the people who read this... if there are any out there! Haha anyways here it is :)

Bad Luck Mavs

So today was game 3 in the NBA finals, it is now 2-1 with the Miami Heat winning on the road today dispite my man Dirk scoring 34 points and grabbing 11 boards, he had a bit of help  from Jason Terry with 15 besides that no one really done much more, and without the non-star players contributing, what hope have they got beating a team with Lebron James, Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh! they scored 64 points between them! Ah well better luck next time Mavs!

On a better note im really into a young rapper by the name of Tayyib Ali. He is only 18 and has one of the best flows going around in my opinion. i think this guy will become HUGE if he keeps this up! Here is one of my fav songs from him

I'll also add a song from my fave Australian artist. His name is PEZ and this song is something most people can relate too, and if not thats really sad, you will understand once you listen to the lyrics...

First Post

So the is my first post... wow. My name is Tom. I am unemployed, so i have nothing better to do then watch NBA, Listen to hip hop, youtube and look up funny pictures. So that what this blog will be about, the best things in life i think.

So ill start off with one of my fave artist's at the moment, you may of heard of him, his name is Mac Miller. I think he is boss! and only just turned 19 he will be a beast very soon i think! Check him out
Onto the NBA, WOW what a game! (game 2) Dirk the big crazy german has done it again when it matters as he has done all through these play offs! he is one of my fave players and has been for the last 6+ years and i hope dallas go onto win the championship cos he deserves it! and if he gets a ring, i think he will go down as one of the greatest ever!
